Victory Place unveiled: A name with a Purpose & Pride

During last year's Community Consultation event, residents were invited to participate in a "Name the Place" competition to choose a name for the public realm area bordered by Churchill Road, Barret Place, and Burbridge Gardens. With 39 entries submitted, Councillor Bennett selected "Victory Place," a thoughtful suggestion from Summer Wessel, as the winning name.
Summer chose the name to honour the country’s victory in the Battle of Britain and to celebrate the success of St. Andrew’s Park in fostering a vibrant and welcoming community. A sign has since been installed, and Victory Place was officially named in June. Congratulations to Summer for her winning entry!
